Candlelight: 90s Hip Hop on Strings Portland reviews
Star Wars in Concert
The musicians truly awesome, with Ian McDirmiad hosting on the DVD instead of Anthony Daniels in the concert. Mesmerized by the screen, I often forgot it was a live symphony orchestra. The laser show was brief, only one song, but everything else was great. Truly amazing, it sounded like a studio version of the original scores. It was a bit pricey, wish there was more of that. Otherwise, go to the show and see the actual Darth Vader, Plo Kon, Kit Fisto, Chewbacca, Yoda, C-3PO, Han Solo in Carbonite and other props from the movies. It was fascinating to see those. I was getting so mesmerized by the live symphony orchestra, that I often forgot it was a studio version of the original scores. This is the same show that is contained on the Episode 3 soundtrack with the bonus DVD "Candlelight: 90s Hip Hop on Strings-A Musical Journey" that comes. If you can't afford to go, just buy the Episode 3 soundtrack with the DVD.
